Before anything else, i would like to give thanks to God for several things
- for melody, for being a really obedient girl
- for getting home safe and in 1 piece
- for all that energy to last till now
- for my puma shoes to stay faithful and did not wear off
- for my useless battery-less hp, kept me company by letting me swing it rounds and rounds
- for not getting knock down by cars for multiple blind jaywalking
- for technologies, fast, rapid transportations!!
- for the nice taxi uncle sending me off an extra mile home. THANK YOU UNCLE!!!!!!!!

what would you do if..
- you're at least 10km away from home
- its 2am
- your hp ran out of batt to call for help
- you have only $4 in your wallet, meaning its impossible to take cab nowadays.
- get a cab anyway! cheat the taxi driver to send you home
- sleep at some shelter till the next morning and catch the 1st bus/train
- jog home
- sing and walk your way home

i got horned at least 5times by different cabbies along lentor avenue. all hinting me to get on to their cab. GO AWAY! I DONT WANA CHEAT YOUR MONEY AND DIESEL, GET SOMEONE ELSE!!!
and i continued jog.. and jog.... and jog......
till YCK mrt. got myself a well-deserved can of icy cold softdrinks, actually i was craving for 2 big cups of milo dinosaur gao gao. kinda regret it, i drank it on an empty stomach, and its causing tummy upset. further more its pepsi twist. extra acid to my tummy.
and at YCK mrt, wanted to call for help. and i realised that all the payphones are INSIDE the locked mrt station. ok, so much so for payphones, when people actually needs it, they cant be of much help as usual. HAA!
walked furthermore into the heartlands of AMK. finding MORE payphones, but really. are they extinct?! the whole estate, i can find not a single piece of payphone. or you can say, im blind or wad larr.
got outta there. sat at some bus stop and stare at blank space. AND started walking again and swinging my hp...........
till bishan, finally tired bones caught me. and i flagged a cab, the uncle rejected me. arrwwww... give you money also dont want. haha..
and sat at the curb waiting for another cab to bring me somewhere that will cost me $4. and thru-out the journey, my mind was at work doing calculations. standard charge plus midnight charge adds together gives you yada yada yada~. and i kept calculating. and when i finally confess to the uncle that i only got $4 and asked him to drop me near mediacorp, THE UNCLE IS SO NICE THAT HE OFFER TO SEND ME ALL THE WAY HOME!! nice people are really hard to find in this era.
im thanking God that I'M STILL ALIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WHY!? of everything nice in the world, why red bean soup? the soup tastes alright, but once you chew on it, everything yucky starts oozing outta the hard bean skin. i wonder why God create red beans. surely, its not just to provides a living for the aunties selling red bean soup?
